Sandra M. Schlueter Memorial Donation

07/30/09

Sandra M. Schlueter

On July 27, 2009, Habitat for Humanity-Grand Traverse Region was presented with a check for $250,000 on behalf of Sandra M. Schlueter who passed away last November. Sandra was a woman of many accomplishments including a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees. She was a dedicated Habitat volunteer and an active member of her church. No achievement meant more to Sandra however than her 22 year service to our nation as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. A 2010 Sandra Schlueter Women’s Build is being planned to honor Sandra and her lifetime of accomplishments.
